On our FINALS EXAM. Wow! Tapos na nga ang first sem?!?? Akalain ninyo yun! (Let's celebrate!!)
Well, aside from being done with all the exams for the final period, there's nothing for me to celebrate as of now. So I guess I really can't have total peace of mind until then.. lolz..

Fort Santiago! At last, I have finally set foot on Fort Santiago and the National Museum. Not until earlier today.
And how did I manage to visit one of the most historical sites in our country? Hahaha. Et voila tout!
Muntikan na nga akong hindi makipagkita kay Jho, for some reason (don't want to elaborate anymore.. haha).
Of course we brought our cameras with us (it wasn't allowed in the museum, though), and captured the moments as we strolled down Gen Luna Street, and inside the famous Fortress (it is a fortress, isn't it?! Haha). The best part was when we were finally inside Fort Santiago, and we saw the popular bronzed "last steps" of our national hero and the clothes he wore when he was executed and some of his things (especially the original copy of Mi Ultimo Adios [My Last Farewell] and the oil lamp wherein the poem was placed) during his detention in the fort. Ang saya talaga, it was like going back in time, not to mention a little trip around the world --- kung hindi ba naman sari-saring mga foreigner ang naglipana din sa site.. hehehe.. Nagkaroon pa ako ng mini concert doon, singing along with the Pandangguhan song while it was being played throughout the grounds; I guess I was the only person who can relate to the song, then.. haha adik
It was really a great experience, taking a tour around the Fort Santiago. Sa wakas eh nakumpleto ko na rin ang tour ko sa buong Intramuros, after one long year!! hahaha!! Sa wakas!!
(Watch out for our pics in the location, on my Friendster and Facebook accounts. hihi)

Presenting, Ms. Julie Andrews. :) Suddenly, I've grown fond of Academy Award - winning actress, Julie Andrews. It started when I saw her in the classic film The Sound of Music, and went on after seeing her, again, in The Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement.
The young Julie Andrews

Julie Andrews now :)
Well, she is without a doubt, one of the best actresses ever, being gifted with such talents in acting and singing (She is a very good singer, I'm telling you, especially before she had her throat operation more than ten years ago.. She was a five-scale coloratura soprano singer ---?!????? Gosh, what a range of voice!).. Ms. Andrews was not only seen on the silver screen or on the television, but onstage as well; she actually started as a stage actress.. Indeed, Julie Andrews is but a versatile artist, so definitely, she is someone you should be fond of, and someone to be really admired! (See it for yourselves!)

Natawa ako dun sa part where you wrote about Rizal's detention & execution and you followed it with "ang saya talaga", hehehe.
Omigod, Pandangguhan! Is that the one that goes, "manunugtog ang nangagpa-simula?" How did you know that?! Hahaha! Old soul ka nga, iha. :)
Well, seeing some parts of Rizal's life as a prisoner was totally amazing, eh. hahahaha. Kaya ayun ang nasabi ko. hihi.
Yes, Ate Buday, you're right about that Pandangguhan part, haha. It just so happens that I have studied some songs when I have to join a Music Quiz bee way back in my sixth year in elementary, and that particular song was one of the most memorable that I have encountered then. I could still remember almost all of the lyrics until now, at tawang tawa talaga ang bestfriend ko at ang boyfriend niya dahil mukhang ayaw kong magpa-awat sa pagkanta nun.
Manunugtog ay nangapagsimula
at nangagsiawit ang mga mutya...
San ka pa?? hahah adik lang po. :)
