Not an eyebrow was raised. Not a frown wrinkled her sweet face. And most of all, not a word was uttered. It was just Pacing (Rosa del Rosario) and her cold stare thrown at Ramon (Rogelio dela Rosa), for he was paying attention to the other girl, Amelia. Nevertheless, anyone who could see her expression at that moment could also tell how much jealous Pacing was after seeing Ramon's simplest gestures.

Pacing was all smiles while she sang and danced for the crowd. But as she waltzed around and passed by Ramon, who was then arm-in-arm with Amelia, her smile suddenly vanished. As their eyes met for a split-second, she gave him a quick yet stern all-over look and turned away. At the end of her song, she smiled at everyone but Ramon, for whom she gave yet another cold glance.

Rosa del Rosario as Pacing--a subtle portrayal, to an extent. With all this subtlety, however, one may still find it hard to forget every look her face showed with every scene.
